When I first went in I knew this was the place. At that time I had 2 older dogs they took wonderful care of them, even took care of my dal when she had tummy troubles no problem. Now my Zoe goes and gets groomed coming out looking and smelling like a show dog. Keep up the good work my family loves you.

My fiancé and I are so happy that we found Ocean View Kennel! Foxy, our 1 year old Pomeranian, is so much happier now and better behaved since she has been going there. She come homes exhausted, so we know she was able to play and exercise and socialize with other dogs and people all day. Everyone at Ocean View Kennel is friendly and caring and professional – you can tell they all really love dogs, and they make sure to love your dog too while it is there. They are compassionate people who even take in dogs that are injured or dumped off somewhere. I don’t know how they do it! They are wonderful people, and I am so thankful we bring Foxy there.

Hi, my name is Petey and I’ve been coming to Ocean View Kennel for about a year. I had some other doggy day care nightmares but my mom looked around and finally found me a place to call home.

I love everyone here at doggy day care, I come 3 times a week. The staff all love me. I even have a girlfriend Chicklet - she and I are inseparable. We run all around up and down the tunnel and they hear us coming when the pea stones fly from us doing warp speed around to the play yard. I couldn’t have asked for such a wonderful family and staff to be around all day.

After rescuing our 2 year old pitbull Colby, my boyfriend and I wanted to find a place for him to socialize with dogs and release some energy. We were told by several daycare facilities that they have breed restrictions and can not take a pitbull or any sort of pit-mix.

Even though this was discouraging, we didn't give up and we were lucky enough to stumble upon Ocean View Kennel. Lisa scheduled a personal meet-and-greet (on her day off) to meet Colby and assess his personality. Since that day we've felt that we have all become a part of the Oceanview family. We are completely at ease when Colby is at daycare, or boarding for a few days, knowing he is good hands and is having a blast! He even has a girlfriend, Sookie : )

All of the staff members here are knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. They only want what is best for your dog and will go out of their way to achieve it. We are so happy to have found Oceanview and I think Colby is too :)

About a year and a half ago I was blind sided by the loss of not one but both of my dogs within three weeks of each other. So I came home one night and my house was so quiet it did not seem like home so I knew I had to get a dog.

Someone told me about this place right down the street - Ocean View Kennel - so I went in and checked it out. Let me tell you it was the best thing I ever did, I got a huge clown of a pitbull that Lisa had worked with. He loves everyone and even hangs out with my neighbor's cat. I was flying out early on a Monday and could not get my dog sitter on the phone. At the last possible minute Ocean View agreed to take Tobey, my little daschund mix. He was there for 8 nights. He came home, happy, and healthy and BETTER. Less barky, less nervous. Lisa even sent me picture mail to my cell phone of Tobey playing.

They "roomed" him with another small doggie, so he would not be lonesome. Great job. You guys are wonderful. Greatly appreciated, and I didn't have to miss my vacation!

I've been looking for a place that could groom my westie and cairn terrier. Ocean View Kennel is just that place. I am extremely picky when it comes to the look of my boys and they "hit the nail on the head" PERFECTION. I would and have recommended them to several people.

They not only do a fabulous job, but they genuinely care about each and every animal that comes into their facility. I just met with the people who run this kennel and let me just say that this place really cares about these dogs. All of the Animals were happy and well adjusted and talk about clean...the place was spotless. I decided to adopt a dog from them and i fell in love with a 2 year old pitbull named bryson! He is a great dog....and from what i understand i owe that to Lisa for the time and energy she put into him. I would recomend them to anyone who need's thier services. Ocean View Kennel has now became a sucessful business with a steler reputation. Ocean View Kennel is a family business. At any time the owner, Marion, or one of her three children, Lisa, Georgey, and Darlene, will be working. The customers adore them and trust them completely with their animals. Each one has dedicated their lives to helping animals and they can't help but form personal, close relationships with the customers and their animals.

Since opening they have expanded their business to include, doggy day care, airport animal services, grooming, and also a mass education certificate program for the teaching of professional dog and cat grooming. I feel that everyone should know how great these people are. Also, that if and when you decide to give them a try and drop your beloved animal off in their facility, that they will be 100% welcomed and safe. In this time of economic struggle, we need to support these small, family businesses and help to keep them going until better days.

I am the Mama of Mr. Cooper, the handsome boy you see on the "Rescued" page. My fiance Ryan and I are so grateful to Ocean View for introducing us to our boy through their work with Mass PAWS, as well as the wonderful care and attention he gets at daycare every day.

We also will never forget the extra special care they gave to our beloved Bella G. in her final days. She truly loved her time at Ocean View. I would recommend to anyone needing pet daycare or boarding that they look to Ocean View Kennel. Mr. Cooper give them "two paws up!!".

My dog Layla stayed at the Oceanview kennel on September 13th and 14th while my husband and I had our wedding in Nahant. Lisa was so wonderful with Layla. Layla made a friend named Wally and Lisa even gave Layla special treatment. What made my day (other than my wedding) was she dressed Layla up in a dress on my wedding day and sent me a picture message of her.

I don't know any kennel that would do that. I would not hesitate to leave Layla at the Oceanview Kennel again. I hope to get her back so she can see her friend Wally. Thanks for taking such good care of Layla!

We brought our dog Marley to Ocean View for his first ever overnight stay and we could not have been more pleased! Marley is a shelter dog and tends to be shy and nervous around new people for the first time. Lisa took care of him right away to make him feel comfortable and at home.

When we picked up Marley he had clearly made friends and for the first time ever in a doggie day care-type situation DID NOT BOLT TO THE DOOR when we showed up. He was clearly happy, relaxed, and loved being there. It was the best part of the vacation knowing that he was not just "ok" but having a wonderful time.

If you like to travel to Boston and bring your pet but not too many hotels/motels let you have pets, what's a pet lover to do!!! Searching the internet and finding Ocean View Kennel and reading all the references made up my mind that I just had to find out for myself. And was I disappointed, ABSOULTELY NOT.

I called and and spoke to George. He was very personable we had a lengthly conversation and his love for pets along with his staff was making my mind up more.

Well when we arrived we were greated by George asked for a tour and I was very pleased to find he had a fantastic facility. While my dog was there I asked if they could give my dog a bath and clip this nails, which was no problem. Two days later came when I had to pick up my dog it was so funny my dog didn't want to leave and I was thrilled he had such a good time with the staff but especially with all the other dogs.

I highly recommend this kennel if you need a home away from home. This is the place to go and George, when I am back in the area Kasey will be back. --Hope

I brought my cat, Antonio to be groomed on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006. My brother Guy has had his dog Ginger groomed and boarded with you and he recommended that I should bring Antonio there. He has always been pleased with how Ginger was treated. I was very concerned about leaving Antonio, but as soon as I met Lisa, Emily, Marian, and George, I knew Antonio was in good hands.

I found Ocean View Kennels through an internet search and read so many wonderful things about the folks there. When I had to leave Spike, my 5 year old Boston Terrier at a kennel for the first time ever, I was quite nervous.

I went for a pop-in tour of the kennel first and found it incredibly clean. The staff really love the pets that they were watching. I was very confident having Spike stay at Ocean View. I was so happy to find that he did great and I can tell that he was extremely well cared for and had a great time. I would use Ocean View again in a heartbeat.

I recently started bringing my 2 year old Dalmation to OVK and was so pleased with the care he recieved that my husband and I decided to bring our other dog (who has some anxiety issues) there as well. To everyone's amazement our Ibizan hound is doing beautifully. The "boys" go there to play once a week and they love it.

The facility is spotless and odor free no matter when you go in. The family owned business includes several special individuals that are extremely dedicated to the care they give to all the animals entrusted to them. I stopped by unannounced to tour the facility. I had driven by many times, but noticed a major difference when it was placed under new management. The building is spotless, the staff is wonderful and the dogs are well taken care of, and looked like they were having the time of their lives! I am what you call an obsessed dog "mom"...lol.
