Ocean View Kennel also provides an overnight boarding service. Here at Ocean View we do not charge you for extra playtime, treats, or individual attention. Included in our boarding rate is free doggy day care. We feel that it is our responsibility with all of the pets in our care to socialize and exercise them, not just the the dogs whose owners are able to buy play time.

 

Your dog can participate from 6 am – 6 pm after passing an evaluation. All play groups are supervised. At night your dog will rest in a custom built indoor kennel attached to a 8 foot run, so they have plenty of space for all their toys, beds, bowls, and a comfortable night sleep.

 

There is someone in the building with the dogs 24 hours a day. Boarding Rate is $35.00 per night. An additional day is charged for pick-ups after 11 am on day on departure. Please view our Requirements for additional information.

 

Requirements

Ocean View Kennel requires the following things for your pet to use the services at our facility:

  • Vaccinations – including Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Canine Influenza, and Kennel Cough
  • Flea Protection – year round flea and tick preventative which can be bought here for $15. Topical application preferred over flea collars!
  • Evaluation – each dog must participate in an evaluation with staff to determine temperament and behavior around food, toys, and other dogs. In most cases it is not pass or fail, but for us to to get to know your dog's individual likes and dislikes.
  • Spayed/Neutered – all dogs must be spayed or neutered to attend doggy day care or overnight boarding services. Exceptions will be made for puppies under 5 months; however, the procedure must be completed when your veterinarian approves.
  • Food- we require that you bring your dog's own food while boarding or if you choose to feed them while at day care. Changing a dog's diet can upset their stomach and make their stay a lot less enjoyable.
